Limousine Rentals
There is something to be said about being driven around in a classy rented limousine. They are terrifically spacious, exquisitely elegant and a very comfortable way to travel. Be careful if you rent a limousine, it is very easy to get used to being chauffeured around in one.
Limousine types
Classic limousines are typically sedans like Ford's Crown Victories or a Cadillac STS. In recent years more and more stretches are being added to vehicles including luxury cares such as Mercedes-Benz, SUVs such as Escalades and of course Hummers. These newer type of stretched limousines are even larger than your tradition sedan types. Depending on the size of your wedding party, or who will be traveling with you, renting one larger more 'pimped out' limo might be more cost efficient than renting two more common sedan style limousines.
If you plan to really live it up rich and famous style, you might want to consider stocking the icebox with drinks. If you are going to have wine, instead of champagne, be sure to have a wine opener. Most limousines should come stocked with glasses and ice if you let them you know you intend on drinking some and will ensure your drinks are adequately chilled. Find out if there are different laws in your area about permits or rules about drinking in limousines.
Plan your route
Whether you are going back to your hotel, to your reception location or on to your wedding photo shoot, it is best to let the driver know your plan upfront. That way they can take you on the most entertaining ride and help you avoid any unwanted traffic causing you to have a late arrival. It can be fun to parade around town, dressed to the nines sticking your head out of the sunroof on your fancy limo ride.
Decorating the limousine
If your limo is all decorated, with 'Just Married' signs and 'pompoms', get ready to be honked at. You will become the center of attention no matter where you go that day, including out in public. But, who doesn't want attention when they rent a limousine?
